About Holly Van Hart

I am a contemporary artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I'm fascinated by the beauty and complexity of life, and my passion is creating paintings that reflect this fascination.

My work has won awards in the California State Fair, the Menlo Art League, the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society, the Fine Arts League of Cupertino, and the Los Gatos Art Association (including being named the LGAA "2009 Artist of the Year"), and can now be found in the homes of collectors throughout North America and in Europe.

Please enjoy looking at my online gallery, and please email me with questions or comments at holly@hollyvanhart.com .   I'd love to hear from you!

To see my latest paintings, and to hear about the stories behind them, I invite you to visit http://hollyvanhart.blogspot.com.

These paintings show the drama of human emotions with figures inspired by Rodin's sculptures, using vivid colors and unusual angles.
